Key Responsibilities and Work Duties
Fire Watch personnel monitor hot work activities and help prevent fire-related incidents by maintaining continuous surveillance. Standby Men provide safety support during confined space and hazardous operations while remaining prepared for emergency response. Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors conduct inspections, identify hazards, enforce HSE regulations, investigate incidents, and promote a strong safety culture. Work Permit Receivers (WPR) coordinate permit-to-work activities and ensure all work is performed under approved safety procedures. Mechanical Foremen supervise mechanical teams, allocate work, and monitor project progress. Riggers safely handle lifting operations, inspect lifting equipment, and coordinate crane activities. QC Mechanical & Welding Inspectors verify mechanical installations and welding quality to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in their respective fields and demonstrate strong technical knowledge of industrial safety, mechanical works, quality inspection, or lifting operations. Applicants must provide a valid Chamber Certificate, Iqama, Muqeem, SABIC Medical Certificate, and Original Passport. Candidates applying for Safety Officer and WPR positions must have the required Iqama profession as specified by the employer. Riggers must possess valid TUV certification according to the required level. Strong communication skills, teamwork, leadership abilities, and a commitment to workplace safety are essential for all positions.
