Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform duties according to their assigned roles while following approved maritime safety procedures. Gangway Watch personnel will control vessel access, verify authorized entry, and maintain security records. Fire Watch staff will monitor welding, cutting, and other hot work activities, ensuring fire prevention equipment is available and ready for use. Hot Work Watch – Confined Space Attendants will supervise confined space entry, monitor atmospheric conditions, assist during emergency situations, and ensure all permit requirements are followed throughout the work process. All positions require close coordination with HSE teams and strict compliance with workplace safety standards.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have relevant experience in marine operations, shipyard activities, or industrial environments. Gangway Watch candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in marine operations, shipyards, or HSE-related roles. Fire Watch applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of industrial or shipyard experience, while Hot Work Watch – Confined Space Attendants should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in industrial safety or shipyard operations. A transferable valid Iqama, updated CV, relevant certificates, and required safety cards are mandatory. This recruitment is open only for local transfer candidates.
