Job Responsibilities & Daily Work Scope
A Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Fitter is responsible for installing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining industrial piping systems and mechanical equipment according to engineering drawings and project specifications. The role includes measuring and cutting pipes, fitting valves and flanges, aligning equipment, performing maintenance on mechanical components, and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards. Candidates are also expected to inspect equipment, identify mechanical issues, assist in troubleshooting, and work closely with supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe working environment.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have practical experience as a Pipe Fitter or Mechanical Fitter on industrial or construction projects. Candidates must be familiar with engineering drawings, industrial tools, piping systems, and mechanical installation procedures.
