Safety Officers Fire Watchers Fabricators WPR Rigger Level III Instrument Technicians Electrical Technicians Pipe Fitters Mechanical Technicians Millwright Technicians
Description
Industrial Construction & Maintenance roles are the backbone of large petrochemical and processing facilities across Saudi Arabia. A major recruitment drive is currently underway to mobilize skilled professionals to support key industrial sites in Jubail. These positions are crucial to maintaining uninterrupted plant operations, enforcing strict safety compliance, and executing shutdowns or expansion activities efficiently.
The recruitment spans multiple trades including Safety Officers, Fire Watchers, Fabricators, WPR personnel, Rigger Level III, Instrument Technicians, Electrical Technicians, Pipe Fitters, Mechanical Technicians, and Millwright Technicians. Each role serves a specific function in heavy industrial environments such as North/South and Ibn Zahr facilities. Projects in these sites require experienced manpower capable of adhering to technical standards, safety regulations, and tight project timelines, all aimed at maintaining operational excellence and minimizing downtime.
Role Responsibilities
Professionals in these trades carry out responsibilities tailored to their expertise while ensuring compliance with industrial safety standards. Safety Officers supervise daily operations, conduct toolbox talks, inspect PPE usage, and enforce hazard prevention measures. Fire Watchers monitor hot work activities and respond immediately to prevent fire hazards. Fabricators interpret technical drawings to assemble structural or piping components accurately.
WPR personnel manage the permit-to-work system, ensuring all safety approvals are in place before execution. Rigger Level III staff handle complex lifting operations and coordinate with crane operators for safe load movement. Instrument and Electrical Technicians are responsible for installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and testing of plant systems. Pipe Fitters assemble piping networks, while Mechanical and Millwright Technicians maintain rotating machinery, perform alignments, and conduct preventive maintenance. All tasks must be completed efficiently to meet production and mobilization deadlines.
Required Skills & Expertise
Applicants must possess documented experience and technical expertise relevant to their trade. A solid understanding of industrial safety regulations, shutdown procedures, and maintenance protocols is essential. Safety Officers should have recognized safety certifications, WPR personnel must hold a Supervisor Iqama profession, and Rigger Level III candidates must demonstrate advanced rigging proficiency.
Technicians across instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and millwright disciplines must read engineering drawings, use precision tools, and diagnose equipment faults accurately. Pipe Fitters and Fabricators require hands-on fabrication and assembly skills. Valid documentation, including Iqama and Ajeer registration (where required), is mandatory, especially for mobilization to Ibn Zahr. Candidates should be physically fit, disciplined, and capable of working in demanding industrial environments.
