Supporting Safe Operations on Industrial Sites
Fire Watchers play a crucial role in maintaining workplace safety during hot work activities such as welding, cutting, and grinding. Their responsibility is to monitor work areas for fire hazards, respond quickly to emergency situations, and ensure that all fire prevention procedures are followed. By working closely with supervisors and safety teams, Fire Watchers help protect workers, equipment, and project assets while ensuring uninterrupted project progress.
Daily Responsibilities and Work Environment
The selected candidates will remain present during hot work operations to identify potential fire risks and ensure that firefighting equipment is readily available. They will inspect work locations before, during, and after hot work activities, monitor compliance with project safety procedures, and immediately report unsafe conditions to the safety department. Fire Watchers are also expected to maintain clear communication with supervisors, follow Aramco safety standards, and assist in preventing workplace incidents through continuous observation and awareness.
Qualifications, Skills & Eligibility
Applicants must possess a valid Aramco Vendor approval and should have previous experience working as a Fire Watcher on industrial projects. Candidates are required to submit complete documentation, including original identification documents, before deployment. Individuals with good observation skills, a strong understanding of workplace safety procedures, and the ability to respond effectively during emergency situations will have an advantage. Candidates should also be physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
