Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for managing the permit-to-work system and ensuring that every work activity is carried out safely and in full compliance with Saudi Aramco procedures. Daily responsibilities include reviewing work permits, verifying work locations, coordinating with supervisors and safety personnel, identifying workplace hazards, ensuring all safety precautions are implemented before work begins, and monitoring ongoing activities throughout the shift. The WPR will also maintain accurate permit records, communicate with different project departments, and immediately report unsafe conditions to prevent incidents. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and commitment to workplace safety are essential for this role.
Required Skills, Experience, and Professional Knowledge
Applicants must hold Saudi Aramco Approved Work Permit Receiver (WPR) certification and have relevant experience working on industrial, refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas projects. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of Saudi Aramco’s permit-to-work system, hazard identification, risk assessment, and workplace safety regulations. Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments are highly desirable.
