Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities for scaffolders and associated roles vary according to experience and designation. Scaffolders are responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures while ensuring safety regulations are strictly followed. Scaffold Foremen oversee scaffolding teams, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure timely completion of all setups. Scaffold Supervisors are responsible for inspecting scaffold structures, ensuring compliance with project standards, and managing the safety of personnel working at heights. Helpers assist in material handling, preparation of work areas, and supporting scaffolders to maintain workflow efficiency. Collectively, these roles ensure that construction activities progress safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have prior experience in scaffolding operations and be familiar with safety protocols relevant to high-rise construction environments. Scaffolders should have practical knowledge of assembling various types of scaffolds and using related tools safely.
