The roles of HSE Inspector, Landscape Engineer, and Document Controller each contribute to ensuring that large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia are executed with precision, compliance, and professional standards. The HSE Inspector is responsible for maintaining workplace safety and ensuring compliance with international HSE regulations. The Landscape Engineer focuses on designing and supervising outdoor and environmental development works, while the Document Controller ensures accurate management and organization of project documentation. Together, these roles support efficient project delivery and uphold industry standards across all phases of construction and engineering work.
Key Responsibilities
Each position carries specific responsibilities that are essential for smooth project execution. The HSE Inspector is responsible for conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, ensuring compliance with OSHA and regional safety regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture among workers. The Landscape Engineer supervises landscape construction activities, irrigation systems, and site development works while coordinating with project teams to ensure design accuracy and execution quality. The Document Controller manages all technical documents, ensures proper filing systems, tracks revisions, and maintains communication records using platforms such as Aconex and other document management systems. All professionals are expected to coordinate effectively with engineers, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates applying for these positions must possess strong technical expertise and industry-specific qualifications. The HSE Inspector should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management or Engineering along with NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent certification, and at least 10 years of experience in construction or engineering consultancy. The Landscape Engineer must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in landscape and irrigation supervision, and PE license will be considered an advantage. The Document Controller should have at least 4 years of experience in multinational environments, strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and working knowledge of Aconex and similar systems. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required for all positions.
