Description
The Quality Control and Inspection roles are essential in ensuring that all engineering, construction, and maintenance activities meet strict industry and Aramco standards. Professionals in this field are responsible for monitoring, verifying, and documenting all stages of project execution to guarantee safety, durability, and compliance. These roles are especially important in oil and gas projects where precision and adherence to technical specifications directly impact operational safety and efficiency. Candidates will be working in a high-performance environment where attention to detail, technical expertise, and discipline are highly valued. The purpose of these roles is to prevent defects, ensure quality assurance, and support smooth project delivery without delays or safety risks.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for performing inspections at different stages of construction and fabrication work, ensuring all activities comply with approved project drawings, procedures, and Aramco quality standards. They will conduct visual inspections, material verification, welding inspections, piping checks, and electrical and instrumentation assessments depending on their specialization. In addition, they will prepare detailed inspection reports, maintain quality documentation, and coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and contractors to resolve any non-conformance issues. They must also ensure that all testing activities such as NDT procedures are properly executed and recorded. Another key responsibility includes monitoring site activities to ensure safety regulations are strictly followed at all times, minimizing risks and ensuring operational excellence.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must possess strong technical knowledge in their respective disciplines such as piping, welding, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation, or telecom inspection. Aramco approval or certification is mandatory for most positions, along with relevant industry experience in oil and gas projects. A solid understanding of international codes such as ASME, API, ASTM, and ISO standards is highly required. Applicants should have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Strong communication skills are also necessary to coordinate with multicultural teams and report findings accurately.
