This opportunity is based in the industrial cities of Jubail and Dammam, where large-scale construction and maintenance activities require skilled rigging personnel. The role of a Rigger is extremely important in heavy lifting operations, ensuring that all loads are safely moved, secured, and positioned according to strict engineering and safety standards. In Aramco-approved projects, riggers play a critical role in maintaining operational safety and preventing accidents in high-risk environments. This position is ideal for certified and experienced riggers who are ready for immediate mobilization and long-term industrial engagement.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Rigger III will be responsible for carrying out lifting and rigging operations in accordance with approved safety procedures and project requirements. Duties include preparing lifting plans, selecting appropriate lifting gear, and ensuring that all equipment is properly inspected before use. The rigger must assist crane operators in safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and structural components. They are also responsible for ensuring that all rigging activities comply with Aramco safety standards and site regulations. Additionally, the rigger will identify potential hazards, secure loads properly, and maintain clear communication with the lifting team throughout operations. Regular inspection of slings, shackles, and lifting tools is also part of the daily responsibilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have proven experience as a Rigger III with Aramco approval or equivalent certification. A strong understanding of rigging techniques, lifting procedures, and safety protocols is essential. Applicants should be physically fit, alert, and capable of working in demanding industrial environments such as oil and gas and large construction projects. Knowledge of load calculations, hand signals, and equipment inspection procedures is required.
