Shutdown and turnaround projects require a well-coordinated workforce that can complete maintenance and site activities within a limited timeframe. From safety supervision and fabrication to lifting support and general skilled work, each trade contributes to keeping project activities on schedule. A major recruitment requirement is currently open for several positions in Jubail, with the shutdown assignment expected to run for 45 to 60 days.
A Range of Positions for the Shutdown Workforce

What Each Trade Contributes
Safety Officers will monitor work areas, identify hazards, communicate safety requirements, and support supervisors in maintaining safe working conditions. Fabricators will assist with the preparation, assembly, and modification of required components according to project instructions.
Welders will carry out assigned welding work while maintaining proper technique and workmanship. Rigger Level 3 workers will support lifting activities by preparing loads, securing rigging equipment, and communicating with the lifting team.
Flag Men will help control movement around active work areas and guide personnel or vehicles when required. Skilled Laborers will support different site teams with practical tasks such as material handling, work-area preparation, housekeeping, and other duties assigned by supervisors.
Experience and Documentation
Applicants should have relevant experience in their respective trade and be prepared for the demands of shutdown work. Since the assignment has a defined duration, selected workers should be available according to the planned mobilization schedule.
