The Permit Receiver plays a crucial role in industrial and construction projects by managing and controlling the work permit system. This position ensures that all hazardous and non-routine activities are properly authorized before execution begins. Key Responsibilities
The Permit Receiver is responsible for handling work permits for various site activities and ensuring all safety precautions are followed before work begins. This includes coordinating with supervisors and safety officers to verify job hazards and required control measures. They must ensure that permits are properly filled, approved, and communicated to the concerned teams. In addition, they are responsible for monitoring ongoing work activities to ensure compliance with permit conditions and stopping work if any unsafe condition arises.
