Description
The Scaffolder role plays a key part in construction, oil & gas, and industrial maintenance projects across Saudi Arabia. The main purpose of this position is to assemble, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures that allow workers to perform tasks safely at height. This job is essential for supporting engineers, technicians, and construction teams in completing their work efficiently. Scaffolding also ensures compliance with strict safety regulations, especially in large-scale industrial sites where hazards are high. Skilled scaffolders are highly valued in the industry due to their direct impact on site safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures according to technical drawings and safety guidelines. They must inspect materials before use to ensure all components are safe and suitable for installation. Workers will also be required to secure scaffolding systems properly to prevent accidents and maintain stability under heavy loads. Coordination with site supervisors and other construction teams is essential to ensure smooth workflow. Additionally, scaffolders must follow all safety procedures, wear protective equipment, and maintain cleanliness at the worksite while ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have strong knowledge of scaffolding techniques and safety procedures used in industrial and construction environments. An original TUV certification is mandatory for this position, along with practical experience in scaffolding work. Candidates should understand load-bearing calculations, structural stability, and safe working at height practices. Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging site conditions are important. Previous Gulf experience will be an advantage, especially in Saudi Arabia. Good teamwork, communication skills, and discipline are required to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
