Rigger Level 1 (PFC)
Industrial projects depend heavily on safe and well-coordinated lifting operations. Every movement of heavy equipment, materials, and components requires trained personnel who understand rigging procedures and can work closely with lifting teams. Production Flow Contracting Est. (PFC) is currently seeking a qualified Rigger Level 1 for an urgent project assignment. This opportunity is particularly suited to candidates who already hold the required TUV qualification and have the necessary Petro Kemya and SABIC-related authorization.
Understanding the Rigger Level 1 Role
A Rigger Level 1 supports lifting and material-handling activities by preparing loads, selecting suitable rigging equipment, and assisting lifting operations according to established safety procedures. The position requires careful judgment because incorrect rigging can create serious risks to workers, equipment, and the project schedule. A competent rigger must therefore understand load-handling practices, communicate clearly with lifting personnel, and follow site-specific instructions at all times.
Key Responsibilities on the Project
The selected rigger will be expected to assist with preparing and securing loads before lifting operations begin. Daily work may involve inspecting slings and other rigging equipment, attaching and removing lifting gear, guiding loads during movement, and communicating with crane operators and other members of the lifting crew. The rigger should maintain awareness of surrounding workers and equipment while ensuring that lifting activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures. Good housekeeping, proper equipment handling, and compliance with plant safety requirements will also be important parts of the assignment.
Required Credentials and Candidate Profile
Applicants should have practical experience in industrial rigging and must meet the specific certification and site-access requirements mentioned in the vacancy. TUV Rigger Level 1 certification is required, along with Petro Kemya approval with valid authorization and a valid SABIC ID. A valid Chamber document is also specifically required. Candidates should ensure that their credentials are genuine, current, and available for verification before applying. Because this is a specialized industrial position, applicants with relevant rigging experience and familiarity with plant lifting procedures are best suited to the opportunity.
