Description
The Industrial Technician job focuses on performing specialized technical tasks related to machinery installation, maintenance, fabrication, welding, and instrumentation systems. The main purpose of this role is to ensure smooth operation of industrial equipment and support construction and maintenance activities in compliance with engineering standards. Workers are expected to handle site-based technical challenges, follow safety regulations, and maintain high productivity. This position plays an important role in supporting continuous operations in industrial plants, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for carrying out technical duties based on their respective categories such as mechanical maintenance, fabrication, welding, electrical, and instrumentation works. They will assist in installation, repair, and servicing of industrial equipment and machinery. Workers must follow site instructions, read technical drawings, and ensure all tasks are completed according to safety and quality standards. Maintaining tools, reporting faults, and coordinating with supervisors are also part of daily responsibilities. Proper documentation of work progress and adherence to project timelines are essential for smooth execution.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have strong technical knowledge in their respective fields, including mechanical systems, fabrication processes, conveyor systems, electrical installations, and instrumentation works. Experience in industrial projects, especially in Maaden or similar large-scale facilities, is highly preferred. Candidates should be able to understand technical drawings and work instructions clearly.
