The Quality Control and Inspection role is a critical function within the construction, oil and gas, and industrial sectors, particularly in high-standard projects such as Aramco developments in Saudi Arabia. These positions are responsible for ensuring that all engineering, welding, mechanical, piping, electrical, and coating activities comply with strict industry standards and project specifications. Professionals working in these roles help maintain the highest levels of safety, reliability, and quality across all construction phases. Their work ensures that materials, installations, and processes meet regulatory and client requirements, reducing the risk of failures and ensuring long-term operational success. In large-scale projects across the Eastern Province, these roles are essential for delivering world-class infrastructure and maintaining compliance with international and Aramco standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control Supervisors and Inspectors are responsible for monitoring and inspecting construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and standards. They review technical documents, verify materials, and conduct inspections at various stages of the project. Welding QC Supervisors oversee welding activities, ensuring proper techniques and standards are followed, while Mechanical and Piping Inspectors focus on installation accuracy and system integrity. Coating and RTR Inspectors ensure surface protection and material quality meet specifications. Electrical and Instrument Inspectors verify proper installation and functionality of systems. All roles require preparing inspection reports, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating with project teams to resolve issues. Maintaining documentation, following safety standards, and ensuring quality assurance procedures are key responsibilities across all categories.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must have strong technical expertise in their respective disciplines, along with proven experience in Aramco-approved projects. Knowledge of international standards, quality control procedures, and inspection techniques is essential. Applicants should possess relevant Aramco approvals, and for certain roles, CBT (Computer-Based Testing) certification is mandatory. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are critical for success in these positions. Good communication and reporting skills are also required to coordinate with engineers and project management teams. Previous experience in oil and gas or large industrial projects in the Gulf region is highly preferred. Candidates must be capable of working in demanding site conditions while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
