Description
The Rigger III position plays a vital role in construction and industrial project operations, especially in major Aramco sites. The main purpose of this job is to assist in safe lifting, moving, and securing of heavy materials and equipment at the project location in Tamania, Saudi Arabia. This role is important because rigging work directly impacts site safety, equipment protection, and project efficiency. Riggers work closely with crane operators, supervisors, and safety teams to ensure every lifting activity is performed according to approved procedures and international safety standards. Their performance helps reduce accidents, improve workflow, and maintain productivity on large industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Rigger III will be responsible for preparing and inspecting rigging equipment before lifting operations. They will assist in attaching loads securely using slings, chains, and other lifting tools while ensuring balance and stability. The role includes guiding crane operators during lifting activities using standard hand signals and communication methods. Riggers must also ensure that all lifting operations are carried out in compliance with safety rules and site regulations. They are required to inspect equipment regularly, report any defects, and support supervisors in maintaining safe working conditions. Proper coordination with the lifting team is essential to avoid delays and ensure smooth operations on site.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have strong practical knowledge of rigging techniques and lifting operations in industrial or construction environments. Experience in Aramco or Gulf-based projects will be considered an advantage. A good understanding of safety standards, lifting plans, and hazard identification is essential.
