Safety Officer (5 Nos)

A strong safety team is essential on industrial projects where employees work around heavy equipment, construction activities, and potentially hazardous operations. Safety Officers help maintain workplace standards by identifying risks, monitoring work practices, and ensuring crews follow established health and safety procedures. An urgent opportunity is currently available for experienced Safety Officers who meet the required vendor, Gulf experience, and HSE qualification criteria.

Opportunity for Experienced HSE Professionals

This vacancy is aimed at safety professionals with a proven background in industrial project environments. The employer requires candidates to have a Vendor Code, at least three years of Gulf experience, and mandatory Aramco T/A experience. This makes the position particularly suitable for applicants who have already worked during turnaround or shutdown activities and understand the fast-paced nature of such projects. A valid NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification is also required.

Key Responsibilities on the Project

The selected Safety Officers will monitor site activities and help ensure that workers follow approved safety procedures. Their responsibilities may include conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, monitoring PPE compliance, supporting toolbox meetings, and communicating safety instructions to work crews. During turnaround activities, they may observe high-risk jobs, coordinate with supervisors, and help ensure that required controls are in place before work begins. Safety observations, incident reporting, corrective actions, and maintaining appropriate HSE records may also form part of the daily role.

Skills, Experience & Eligibility

Candidates should have a minimum of three years of Gulf experience in occupational health and safety or a related industrial environment. Previous Aramco T/A experience is mandatory, so applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant turnaround project exposure. A valid NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification is also required. Strong communication skills, hazard awareness, site inspection ability, and confidence working with different trades are valuable for this position. Candidates should ensure that their Vendor Code and supporting documents are valid before attending the office.
