Work Permit Reciver ( Nos 12 )

Description

The role of a Work Permit Receiver (WPR) Aramco Approved is a critical position within industrial construction, oil, and gas projects, especially in large-scale operations such as those in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. This job ensures that all work activities are carried out safely, following strict Aramco safety standards and site regulations. The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate, receive, and manage work permits before any job execution begins on-site. A WPR acts as a bridge between the safety department, supervisors, and operational teams, ensuring that every task is authorized, risk-assessed, and compliant with company procedures. This position plays an essential role in maintaining workplace safety, preventing accidents, and supporting smooth project execution in high-risk environments like Jubail industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Work Permit Receiver is responsible for obtaining, verifying, and managing all necessary work permits required for different job activities. This includes coordinating with safety officers, site engineers, and supervisors to ensure all safety checks are completed before work begins. The WPR must review job hazard analysis (JHA), confirm risk control measures, and ensure proper authorization is received from the concerned departments. They are also responsible for ensuring that all workers understand permit conditions and follow safety instructions during execution. Monitoring ongoing work activities to ensure compliance with permit requirements is another important duty. In addition, the WPR must immediately report any unsafe conditions or violations to the safety team and ensure corrective actions are taken without delay. Proper documentation and record-keeping of all permits is also a key responsibility in this role.

Skills and Knowledge

A qualified WPR Aramco Approved candidate must have strong knowledge of industrial safety standards, especially Aramco permit-to-work systems. Experience in oil & gas, construction, or maintenance projects is highly preferred. The candidate should understand different types of permits such as hot work, cold work, confined space entry, and lifting permits. Good communication skills are essential for coordinating with multiple teams on-site. The ability to read and understand safety documents, risk assessments, and technical instructions is also required. Candidates must be disciplined, detail-oriented, and capable of working under strict safety regulations. Prior Aramco approval or certification is a strong advantage, along with experience in handling large industrial projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries.
