Safety Officer, WPR, Fire Watcher & Rigger 3
Industrial plant projects require trained safety personnel and skilled site workers to maintain safe operations and support efficient project execution. Mahdi Contracting Company has announced a very urgent manpower requirement for a SABIC Plant project in Jubail and Yanbu. The recruitment includes Safety Officers, WPR TUV, Fire Watchers, Stand-By Men, and Rigger Level 3 TUV. The project is planned for 7 months, with food and accommodation provided by the company and immediate mobilization for successful candidates.
Current Manpower Requirement
The recruitment drive offers a significant number of vacancies across safety, permit-control, fire-watch, standby, and rigging roles. The company is seeking 40 Safety Officers, 33 WPR TUV, 15 Fire Watchers, 15 Stand-By Men, and 40 Rigger Level 3 TUV workers. Candidates should apply for positions that match their practical experience and be prepared for the company’s interview and documentation process.
The listed rates range from 13 SAR to 24 SAR per hour, depending on the position. Food and accommodation will be provided by the company, which can make the opportunity suitable for candidates seeking a structured short-term industrial project assignment.
Responsibilities Across the Available Roles
Safety Officers will monitor workplace conditions, identify hazards, conduct safety observations, and support safe working practices across the project. WPR TUV personnel will coordinate permit-controlled activities and communicate approved work conditions to field teams. Fire Watchers will monitor hot-work areas and remain alert to potential fire hazards, while Stand-By Men will support controlled work activities and maintain continuous observation where required.
Rigger Level 3 workers will assist with lifting and material-handling operations, including load preparation, signaling, and safe coordination with lifting teams. All workers are expected to follow site instructions, maintain professional conduct, and work according to established project procedures.
Candidate Requirements and Mobilization Process
Applicants should have relevant experience for their selected position and be ready to complete the recruitment process promptly. The announcement states that Ajeer is required for one month only, and candidates must be prepared to arrange the required Ajeer for immediate mobilization.
Documents must be submitted immediately. The interview is scheduled after four days, and candidates who successfully pass the interview are expected to be mobilized on the same day. Applicants should therefore keep their documents ready and confirm the exact interview schedule with the recruitment office before travelling.
