Riggers and Crane Operators play a critical role in industrial project execution where heavy equipment, machinery, and materials must be lifted, positioned, and transported safely. Rigger personnel are responsible for preparing lifting gear, securing loads, guiding crane movements, and ensuring all lifting operations follow approved safety procedures. Crane Operators manage crane equipment to lift and transport heavy materials across project sites while maintaining full operational control and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities
Riggers are responsible for inspecting rigging tools and lifting accessories before use, securing loads properly, guiding crane operators during lifting operations, and ensuring all lifting activities follow safety standards. Rigger Level 1 personnel assist with basic lifting support tasks, while Level 2 and Level 3 riggers handle more advanced rigging operations and supervise complex lifting activities. Crane Operators are responsible for operating cranes safely, monitoring load movements, conducting equipment checks, and following site lifting plans during project activities. All selected candidates must maintain proper communication with supervisors and safety teams while ensuring workplace safety at all times. Workers are also expected to report equipment defects, follow operational instructions carefully, and support efficient completion of project tasks.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have at least five years of industrial experience along with practical knowledge of lifting operations and safety standards. Rigger candidates should understand rigging equipment, load balancing techniques, lifting procedures, and industrial safety regulations. Crane Operators must possess strong operational skills, equipment handling experience, and the ability to work safely under pressure in active industrial environments. Good communication skills in English are required for coordinating with project teams and following work instructions properly. Physical fitness, professional discipline, and the ability to work long hours in outdoor conditions are also important for these positions.
