Description
A Rigger TUV Level 3 is responsible for handling advanced rigging and lifting operations within industrial project environments. This role involves supervising complex lifting activities, inspecting lifting equipment, guiding crane operations, and ensuring all lifting tasks follow approved engineering and safety standards. Riggers are critical to the success of industrial projects because improper lifting procedures can lead to equipment damage, operational delays, or serious workplace accidents. In Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas industry, certified riggers are highly valued for their technical expertise and ability to maintain safe lifting operations under demanding site conditions. Key Responsibilities
Rigger TUV Level 3 personnel are responsible for preparing lifting plans, inspecting rigging tools and accessories, and ensuring all lifting equipment is safe before operations begin. They coordinate closely with crane operators and supervisors to guide heavy lifting activities safely and efficiently. Their duties include securing loads properly, directing crane movements through approved signaling methods, and monitoring lifting operations to prevent hazards or operational risks. Riggers must also conduct regular inspections of slings, hooks, chains, and other rigging equipment while immediately reporting damaged tools or unsafe conditions. In addition, they are expected to follow all project safety procedures, maintain proper communication with site teams, and support efficient completion of industrial operations.
Skills and Knowledge
