Fire Watch, Standby Man, Gas Tester, Rescue Man & First Aider
Key Responsibilities Across All Positions
Fire Watch (Trained with Card) personnel will monitor hot work operations, identify fire hazards, ensure firefighting equipment is readily available, and respond immediately in case of emergencies. Standby Men will supervise confined space entry points, maintain communication with workers inside confined areas, monitor safety conditions, and coordinate emergency response procedures. Gas Testers will conduct atmospheric testing, monitor oxygen and hazardous gas levels, maintain testing records, and ensure confined spaces remain safe before and during work activities. Rescue Men will remain prepared for emergency rescue operations, assist in confined space emergencies, and support evacuation procedures whenever required. First Aiders will provide immediate medical assistance for workplace injuries, maintain first aid equipment, document incidents, and support overall site health and safety programs.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Professional Knowledge
Applicants should have relevant industrial experience and possess a strong understanding of occupational health and safety procedures. Fire Watch candidates must be trained and hold a valid Fire Watch Card. Gas Testers, Rescue Men, and First Aiders should have practical knowledge and certification related to their respective responsibilities. Candidates must be physically fit, capable of working in industrial environments, and committed to following company safety regulations.
