The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) role is a highly responsible position within Aramco-approved industrial projects in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The WPR acts as a critical link between the site workforce, supervisors, and safety management teams by handling work permits in accordance with strict operational and safety standards. This position plays a key role in preventing accidents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining smooth workflow in high-risk environments such as oil, gas, and construction projects. Key Responsibilities
The Work Permit Receiver is responsible for obtaining, verifying, and managing all required work permits before any job activity begins on site. This includes coordinating with safety officers, supervisors, and project engineers to ensure that all necessary approvals are in place. The candidate must ensure that work permits are properly filled, validated, and updated according to site requirements. Another important responsibility is to communicate all safety instructions and permit conditions clearly to the working team. The WPR must also monitor ongoing activities to ensure compliance with permit conditions and immediately report any violations or unsafe practices. In addition, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring proper handover of permits at the end of shifts is a key part of the role.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have strong knowledge of Aramco safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and industrial site procedures. Experience in oil and gas or large-scale construction projects is highly preferred. The candidate should be familiar with risk assessment processes, isolation procedures, and safety documentation requirements.
