Job Description
The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures across the project site to ensure compliance with SAFCO and industrial safety standards. This role involves identifying hazards, conducting inspections, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring that all site activities are performed in a safe and controlled manner. Safety Officers play a key role in preventing accidents and maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will conduct daily site inspections, monitor ongoing activities, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Responsibilities include hazard identification, risk assessment, incident reporting, toolbox talk delivery, and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The Safety Officer will also coordinate with supervisors and management to maintain safety standards and ensure all SAFCO requirements are strictly followed.
