Civil Engineer
The construction and infrastructure maintenance sector continues to require highly qualified engineering professionals capable of ensuring quality, safety, and structural integrity across critical industrial assets. As rehabilitation and repair projects become increasingly important for extending the life of existing facilities, the demand for experienced Civil Inspection Engineers has grown significantly. A leading engineering organization is currently seeking qualified Civil Inspection Engineers for a long-term project involving structural repair and rehabilitation activities.
Why Civil Inspection Engineers Are Essential in Rehabilitation Projects
Civil Inspection Engineers play a vital role in assessing, monitoring, and verifying construction quality during repair and rehabilitation work. Their expertise helps ensure that damaged or aging structures are restored according to engineering standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
In projects involving foundations, steel structures, storage tanks, reservoirs, ponds, drainage pits, and concrete basins, inspection engineers are responsible for identifying defects, monitoring corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with approved repair methodologies. Their work directly contributes to the safety, durability, and long-term performance of critical infrastructure assets.
Core Duties and Professional Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for inspecting repair and rehabilitation activities related to civil and structural works. Daily responsibilities may include reviewing technical drawings, verifying construction quality, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Civil Inspection Engineers will conduct site inspections, prepare inspection reports, document observations, and coordinate with project management teams to address quality concerns. They will also verify repair procedures for foundations, steel structures, tanks, reservoirs, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure components.
The role requires strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure that all rehabilitation activities meet engineering and safety standards.

Applicants must meet one of the following qualification criteria:
Candidates holding a Diploma in Civil Engineering must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil inspection, structural repair, and rehabilitation projects.
Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering must possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in repair and rehabilitation of structures, foundations, and steel structures.
Practical experience involving repair of tanks, reservoirs, ponds, drainage pits, basins, and similar infrastructure assets is mandatory.
