Safety Officer (SQUARE ARABIA CO.)
Key Responsibilities
The selected Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE policies across the project site. Daily responsibilities include conducting site safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, performing risk assessments, delivering toolbox talks, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining accurate safety records. The role also involves investigating incidents, preparing safety reports, coordinating with project management, and ensuring that all work activities comply with SABIC safety requirements and company procedures. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Skills and Professional Requirements
Applicants must be SABIC Approved Safety Officers with the Iqama profession listed as Safety Technician or Safety Supervisor, which is a mandatory requirement. Candidates should have relevant industrial project experience and strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, emergency response procedures, and HSE documentation. Applicants must also possess valid Saudi project documents, including Iqama, Muqeem, Medical Fitness Certificate, Insurance, Business GOSI, Chamber Registration, and Vendor Code/Ajeer. Individuals who are ready for immediate mobilization will be given priority during the selection process.
