Job Role Overview and Industry Importance
Cable tray fitters, tray fitters, and electricians play a key role in electrical infrastructure installation across industrial and commercial projects. Cable tray workers ensure proper routing and support of electrical wiring systems, while electricians handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
In large-scale industrial developments under organizations such as Saudi Aramco, these roles are essential for maintaining safe and efficient electrical distribution systems. Proper installation reduces electrical hazards and ensures long-term reliability of industrial power networks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Cable Tray Cutting Fitters are responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing cable trays according to engineering drawings and site requirements. Tray Fitters assist in assembling and securing tray systems to ensure proper cable routing.
Electricians are responsible for installing electrical systems, connecting wiring, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring all electrical work follows safety standards and project specifications.
All workers must follow strict safety guidelines, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure quality workmanship in accordance with industrial standards.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should have relevant experience in electrical or mechanical installation work, especially in industrial or construction environments. Strong knowledge of tools, measurements, and safety procedures is required.
Candidates must be physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions. Experience in Gulf projects will be an added advantage.
