Safety Engineer & Quality Control Inspector
Description
Safety Engineering and Welding Quality Control professionals play a critical role in maintaining compliance, operational safety, and structural integrity within large-scale industrial projects. In highly regulated environments, especially those operating under strict client standards such as Aramco-approved projects, these positions are essential to ensuring that every procedure aligns with technical specifications and international safety codes. Safety Engineers are responsible for implementing structured safety systems that protect workers and assets, while Welding QC Inspectors ensure that all welding activities meet approved standards and inspection criteria. In fast-paced project environments like Madeena, where immediate mobilization is required, experienced and certified professionals are indispensable. Their combined expertise ensures that construction and maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and without compromising quality or compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
A Safety Engineer oversees the development and enforcement of site safety policies, conducts risk assessments, and ensures that all operational activities comply with approved safety standards. They monitor daily site operations, identify potential hazards, and coordinate corrective measures to prevent incidents. Conducting safety meetings, reviewing work permits, and preparing safety documentation are key parts of their role.
A Welding QC Inspector focuses on monitoring welding procedures, verifying welder qualifications, and inspecting weld joints according to approved standards. They review material certificates, supervise non-destructive testing processes, and prepare detailed inspection reports. Ensuring compliance with Aramco-approved procedures is essential in this position. Both roles require strong coordination with project teams, strict documentation control, and the ability to maintain high standards under tight deadlines.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must hold valid Aramco approval for their respective roles, as this is a mandatory requirement for the project. A Safety Engineer should possess in-depth knowledge of occupational safety standards, hazard identification techniques, and industrial risk management practices. Professional certifications in safety management are highly advantageous. The Welding QC Inspector must demonstrate strong technical expertise in welding codes, inspection standards, and quality control procedures. Familiarity with welding documentation, material traceability, and testing methods is essential.
All applicants must maintain updated documentation including a valid Absher-updated Iqama, Muqeem status, passport-size photograph, original medical report, valid insurance, and Chamber registration.
