Key Responsibilities
A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for receiving and verifying work permits, checking job locations, confirming required safety controls, and coordinating with supervisors and safety teams before any work activity starts. The WPR ensures that workers follow approved permit conditions, monitors ongoing activities, reports unsafe situations, and helps maintain proper communication between different project teams.
The SBM/Fire Watch is responsible for continuously monitoring hot work areas and other hazardous activities to prevent fire incidents. Duties include checking fire extinguishers and emergency equipment, identifying unsafe conditions, maintaining alertness during operations, and immediately reporting any hazards. The Fire Watch also assists during emergencies and ensures that safety procedures are followed throughout the work process.

Skills and Knowledge
