Key Responsibilities
The Scaffolder will be responsible for assembling and dismantling different types of scaffolding structures while following approved safety guidelines and project specifications. Duties include inspecting scaffolding materials before use, ensuring proper installation, checking stability, maintaining safe working platforms, and making necessary adjustments as required.
The selected candidates must understand scaffolding drawings, follow instructions from supervisors, maintain proper housekeeping around work areas, and ensure all scaffolding activities are completed safely. They will also be responsible for identifying unsafe conditions, reporting damaged materials, using proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and supporting other site teams during construction and maintenance activities.
A professional scaffolder must always prioritize safety during erection and dismantling activities, especially in industrial locations where strict safety standards are followed. Teamwork, communication, and attention to detail are essential to complete scaffolding work efficiently and safely.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have previous experience as a Scaffolder in industrial, construction, or oil and gas projects. Candidates must have practical knowledge of scaffolding installation methods, safety procedures, material handling, and working at height requirements.
A valid Original TUV Scaffolding Certificate is mandatory for this position. Applicants must also have valid Ajeer registration and Muqeem documentation. Candidates should be physically fit, capable of working in challenging site conditions, and committed to following workplace safety rules.
Experience working on major industrial projects will be considered an advantage. Good communication skills, discipline, and the ability to work as part of a professional team are required for successful candidates.
