Work Permit Receiver
The industrial and oil & gas support sector continues to generate strong employment opportunities for experienced safety and permit control professionals. Work Permit Receiver (WPR) roles are highly important in maintaining safe execution of field activities and ensuring compliance with Aramco-approved safety procedures. An urgent recruitment campaign has been announced for Aramco-approved WPR positions for a long-term project near Riyadh. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with valid documentation and prior site experience in permit-to-work systems.
Importance of WPR Roles in Industrial Projects
Work Permit Receivers play a critical role in controlling and authorizing work activities on industrial sites. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that all safety conditions are met before any task begins, especially in high-risk environments such as oil and gas projects.
These professionals act as a communication link between operations teams, supervisors, and safety departments. By managing permits and verifying compliance, WPR personnel help prevent accidents, maintain operational discipline, and ensure smooth workflow across project sites.
Key Responsibilities and Daily Duties
Selected candidates will be responsible for handling work permits for different job activities on site. They will verify safety requirements, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure that all documentation is properly completed before work begins.
WPR professionals will also monitor active job locations, ensure compliance with Aramco safety standards, and maintain accurate records of all issued permits. Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols are essential for this role.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be Aramco-approved WPR certified professionals with valid experience in industrial project environments. Candidates should possess a valid WPR card with at least six months validity and must be able to present a previous expired WPR card for verification purposes.
A valid Iqama is mandatory for eligibility. Candidates should also be familiar with high-hour industrial shifts and capable of managing documentation and safety procedures efficiently. Experience in oil & gas or large-scale industrial projects will be highly preferred.
