Overview of the Opportunity
Large industrial projects in Saudi Arabia require skilled professionals to support maintenance, fabrication, inspection, and safety operations. Companies working in petrochemical and industrial plants rely on experienced manpower to ensure that projects are completed efficiently while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Positions such as QC inspectors, supervisors, foremen, welders, and safety personnel are essential for managing complex industrial activities.
For projects located in Jubail industrial areas, particularly those connected with major petrochemical companies, workers with SABIC experience are highly valued. These professionals are familiar with plant safety procedures, quality control requirements, and industrial standards followed in large petrochemical facilities. Experienced candidates can quickly adapt to site requirements and contribute effectively to project operations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control (QC) inspectors such as Welding QC and Mechanical QC are responsible for ensuring that all fabrication, welding, and mechanical work meet technical specifications and quality standards. They inspect materials, verify procedures, and document inspection results to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Supervisors and foremen manage work teams and coordinate site activities. Mechanical supervisors and piping supervisors oversee installation and maintenance work, ensuring that tasks are performed safely and according to project schedules. Foremen guide workers on-site, supervise daily operations, and ensure that technical instructions are followed properly.
Pipe fabricators and welders are responsible for manufacturing and assembling piping components used in industrial systems. Multi welders specializing in TIG and stainless steel welding perform precision welding work required in high-pressure piping systems. Their skills ensure strong and reliable joints in pipelines and mechanical structures.
Safety officers and standby men play a critical role in maintaining safe working environments. Safety officers monitor site activities, enforce safety procedures, and identify potential hazards. Standby men assist in monitoring work areas and supporting safety teams during operations. Work Permit Receivers (WPR) ensure that all work permits are issued and followed according to site safety regulations.
Skills and Experience
Applicants should have relevant industrial experience, particularly in petrochemical or construction projects. Experience in SABIC facilities is highly preferred for most positions, as it demonstrates familiarity with strict industrial safety and quality standards.
Supervisors and QC inspectors must have strong technical knowledge and leadership skills. Skilled trades such as welders and fabricators must be experienced in using specialized equipment and following precise technical procedures. Workers should also be able to communicate effectively with team members and maintain high attention to detail while working in demanding industrial environments.
