Description

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations in compliance with ARAMCO standards and project safety regulations. The operator is expected to carry out lifting tasks with precision while following engineering instructions and site safety procedures. This role is important in maintaining workflow continuity and preventing delays in construction activities, especially in high-risk industrial environments where proper lifting operations are critical for project success.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for operating a 90-ton crane safely and efficiently according to site requirements and approved lifting plans. Duties include inspecting crane equipment before use, ensuring proper setup and stability, and executing lifting operations under supervision or as per lifting permits. The operator must communicate effectively with riggers and signalers during lifting activities to ensure safe coordination. Additional responsibilities include following ARAMCO safety guidelines, reporting any mechanical issues immediately, and maintaining accurate operational logs when required. The role also requires strict adherence to workplace safety protocols and ensuring that all lifting activities are performed without risk to personnel or equipment.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants must have proven experience as a heavy crane operator, preferably with ARAMCO approval or equivalent certification. Strong technical knowledge of crane operations, load calculations, and safety procedures is essential. Candidates should be familiar with industrial lifting standards and capable of working in high-pressure environments. A valid chamber certificate is mandatory, along with other required documentation such as Iqama, passport copy, insurance, Muqeem, and CR copy.
