An excellent opportunity is available for experienced Work Permit Issuers for a long-term industrial project in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. The role of a Work Permit Issuer is highly important in industrial, construction, and energy projects where safe work execution depends on proper permit management and strict compliance with workplace safety procedures.
Work Permit Issuers ensure that all work activities are reviewed, approved, and performed under safe conditions before starting. They play a key role in controlling hazardous activities, coordinating with site teams, and maintaining effective communication between supervisors, safety personnel, and workers. This position is suitable for professionals who understand permit systems and have experience working in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Work Permit Issuer will be responsible for reviewing work requests, checking site conditions, and ensuring all required safety measures are completed before issuing permits. Daily responsibilities include verifying work locations, confirming that safety requirements are followed, and coordinating with supervisors and project teams to support safe operations.
The Work Permit Issuer will monitor ongoing activities, ensure permit conditions remain valid, maintain proper records, and report any unsafe situations immediately. The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work closely with different departments to maintain a safe and productive workplace.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have previous experience as a Work Permit Issuer or in a similar industrial safety position.
