Safety Officer (JTC Contracting)

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The main responsibility of a Safety Officer is to inspect work areas and ensure all operations follow approved safety regulations and company policies. They identify workplace hazards, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure corrective actions are implemented immediately to reduce risks and prevent accidents.
Safety Officers also organize toolbox talks, safety awareness sessions, and worker inductions to promote safe working practices. They ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), maintain safety records, and prepare reports related to incidents or inspections. Coordination with supervisors and management teams is also an important part of maintaining site safety compliance.
Required Skills and Professional Experience
