The Safety Officer is a vital position in industrial and construction projects, particularly in high-standard environments such as SABIC Yanbu. This role ensures that all operations comply with safety regulations, protecting personnel, equipment, and assets from potential hazards. The Safety Officer monitors daily activities, identifies risks, and implements preventive measures to maintain a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities
Safety Officers are responsible for conducting regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies. They provide training and guidance to staff on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency response procedures, and safe working practices. Investigating incidents, reporting near-misses, and implementing corrective actions are integral to the role.
