SAFETY OFFICER – WPR & MULTIPLE QUALITY CONTROL

Key Responsibilities

Scaffolders and Scaffolding Supervisors are responsible for erecting, inspecting, and maintaining safe scaffolding systems in accordance with approved engineering designs and site safety rules. QA/QC Welding and Piping Supervisors oversee welding and piping activities, ensuring that procedures meet approved standards and that all inspections are conducted properly before final approval. QA/QC Coating Inspectors monitor surface preparation, coating application, and testing procedures to guarantee corrosion protection and long-term durability.

Welding Inspectors and Piping Inspectors perform detailed inspections, review documentation, witness tests, and verify compliance with project specifications. SS and CS Welders (TIG & ARC Multi) execute high-quality welding work following approved WPS procedures and must pass trade testing before deployment. WPR (KEMEYA Authorization) personnel manage welding procedure records and ensure technical compliance. Safety Officers authorized by KEMYA or Petrokemya implement safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, monitor hazards, and enforce site safety regulations to protect all workers and equipment.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must demonstrate relevant industry experience, technical competence, and valid certifications for their respective categories. Scaffolder applicants require Original TUV certification, while supervisors and inspectors must hold Aramco approval and pass required trade or interview assessments. Welders must be skilled in TIG and ARC multi-process welding and successfully complete performance testing. Safety Officers must have strong knowledge of industrial safety standards, hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.

In addition to technical expertise, applicants must possess valid documentation including Iqama, passport copy, insurance, Muqeem record, CR copy, and Chamber registration. Registration with Ajeer Chamber Company is mandatory to ensure payment security and legal compliance. Strong communication skills, discipline, and the ability to work in high-risk industrial environments are essential for all roles.
