Key Responsibilities
Work Permit Receiver (WPR)
The WPR is responsible for managing all work permits related to high-risk operations. Duties include reviewing, issuing, and closing permits while ensuring full compliance with safety requirements. The role involves coordinating with supervisors, safety officers, and operational teams to ensure work is executed safely and efficiently.
The WPR must also maintain accurate documentation of permits and act as the main point of contact for safety-related communication on-site. Strong English communication skills are essential for coordination between multinational teams and management. Attention to detail and strong knowledge of safety procedures are critical for this role.
Welder (Aramco & Third-Party Certified)
Welders are responsible for performing welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks according to project specifications. They must ensure strong structural integrity and high-quality workmanship while following strict safety protocols.
Aramco-approved welders must comply with additional quality and inspection standards, while third-party certified welders must demonstrate technical accuracy and consistency in fabrication work. Welders are also responsible for inspecting their work, identifying defects, and ensuring corrections are made immediately.
Both roles require strict adherence to safety rules and proper documentation of completed work.
Skills and Requirements
Candidates must have prior experience in their respective fields along with valid certifications.
For WPR candidates, strong knowledge of work permit systems, risk assessment, and safety management is required. Good English communication skills are mandatory.
For welders, experience in fabrication and industrial welding is essential, along with valid certification (Aramco or third-party). Familiarity with Saudi industrial standards and safety procedures is highly preferred.
