Overview of the Job Role
The positions of Instrument Supervisor, Civil Supervisor, and Safety Officer are key leadership roles in large-scale industrial projects. Instrument Supervisors handle installation and maintenance of control systems and ensure all instrumentation work meets technical specifications. Civil Supervisors are responsible for managing structural construction activities, monitoring site progress, and ensuring quality workmanship. Safety Officers play a critical role in enforcing health and safety standards, conducting inspections, and preventing workplace accidents. Together, these roles ensure smooth execution of construction projects with proper coordination, quality control, and safety management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Professionals in these positions are required to supervise daily site operations and ensure that all tasks are performed according to project guidelines. Instrument Supervisors monitor technical installations and guide technicians to maintain system accuracy. Civil Supervisors assign work to teams, inspect ongoing construction activities, and ensure compliance with engineering drawings. Safety Officers conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards, implement preventive measures, and ensure workers follow safety protocols. All supervisors are also responsible for reporting progress, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining discipline and safety on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Engineering background is preferred for Instrument and Civil Supervisors, while Safety Officers must hold valid safety certifications. Experience in Gulf projects, especially Aramco or similar industrial environments, is highly valued. Candidates should possess leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills to manage teams effectively.
