The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and supervising construction and infrastructure activities at the project site. This role ensures that all civil works are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and Aramco standards. In large industrial environments like Haradh, the Civil Engineer plays a critical role in coordinating between contractors, site teams, and project management to ensure smooth execution of work. The purpose of this position is to deliver safe, durable, and efficient construction solutions while maintaining quality control and compliance with industry standards. This job is essential for maintaining structural integrity and ensuring successful completion of long-term oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities
The Civil Engineer is responsible for supervising all site construction activities including excavation, foundation work, structural development, and finishing works. Duties include reviewing engineering drawings, ensuring proper implementation of design specifications, and monitoring daily site progress. The engineer must coordinate with project managers, safety officers, and subcontractors to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Regular site inspections, quality checks, and reporting progress updates are part of the role. Additionally, the Civil Engineer must ensure compliance with Aramco safety and quality standards while identifying and resolving any technical issues that arise during project execution.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates applying for this position must have at least 3+ years of Aramco experience in civil engineering projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural design, and project management is essential. Applicants should be familiar with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and site plans. Experience in oil & gas or large industrial projects is highly preferred.
