Description
The Rigger Level III role is a highly responsible position within the construction and industrial sectors, especially in oil and gas projects. The main purpose of this job is to ensure safe lifting, shifting, and positioning of heavy equipment using proper rigging techniques. This role is essential for preventing workplace accidents and ensuring that all lifting activities are carried out according to strict Aramco safety standards. Key Responsibilities
The selected Rigger Level III will be responsible for carrying out all rigging activities in compliance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures. Duties include inspecting lifting tools and equipment before use, ensuring proper slinging techniques, and coordinating with crane operators during lifting operations. The rigger must also verify load weights, maintain clear communication with site supervisors, and ensure that all lifting activities are executed without risk to personnel or equipment. In addition, the candidate will be expected to follow Aramco safety regulations strictly and report any unsafe conditions immediately to the concerned authority.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must possess strong practical experience in rigging operations, along with valid certifications such as Aramco approval, Ajeer registration, and related safety documents. A deep understanding of lifting procedures, load calculations, and rigging equipment handling is essential. Candidates should be familiar with industrial safety standards, hazard identification, and emergency response protocols. Physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in demanding environments are highly required. Previous experience in oil and gas or large construction projects will be considered a strong advantage for this position.
