In industries like oil, gas, and petrochemical plants, strict permit-to-work systems are essential to prevent accidents, reduce risks, and maintain smooth operational workflow. Therefore, experienced professionals in this field play a key role in protecting both human life and company assets while ensuring uninterrupted project execution.

This includes verifying job hazards, ensuring proper risk assessments are completed, and confirming that all safety precautions are in place before work begins. They coordinate closely with supervisors, safety officers, and field teams to ensure that work activities are properly controlled and monitored. Additionally, they are responsible for issuing permits only after confirming that the work area is safe, equipment is isolated, and all safety measures are implemented. They also monitor ongoing activities, renew permits when required, and close permits once the job is completed safely. Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring full compliance with SABIC and industrial safety regulations is also a key part of their daily duties.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in SABIC or similar petrochemical environments is required for this role.
