The Shutdown Project Jobs at Maaden represent a critical industrial maintenance and turnaround operation scheduled to begin on 31st May 2026 in Saudi Arabia. This project plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous performance of plant equipment within the aluminum sector. Shutdown activities are essential for inspecting, repairing, and upgrading machinery that operates under high pressure and continuous production cycles. The purpose of this project is to minimize downtime, improve operational efficiency, and maintain strict safety standards across all mechanical and technical systems. With a duration of 45 to 60 days, this shutdown requires skilled professionals who can perform under strict timelines while maintaining high-quality workmanship and compliance with industrial standards.


Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for executing assigned shutdown tasks according to their respective roles and expertise. Mechanical Supervisors will oversee site activities and ensure proper coordination between teams. Fabricators and welders will handle cutting, fitting, and welding operations with precision. Welding Supervisors will monitor welding procedures and ensure compliance with approved welding procedures and quality standards. Riggers will manage safe lifting and movement of heavy equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. QC inspectors will conduct inspections, verify workmanship quality, and ensure all activities meet Maaden shutdown requirements. All workers must follow site safety regulations and complete tasks within the scheduled timeframe to avoid delays.


Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must possess strong technical knowledge relevant to their job category, along with prior experience in industrial shutdown or maintenance projects. Mechanical Supervisors should have leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively. Welders and fabricators must demonstrate proficiency in CS and SS welding techniques with valid certifications. Riggers should hold TUV certification and have practical experience in heavy lifting operations. QC personnel must be well-versed in inspection standards, documentation, and quality control procedures. A strong understanding of safety regulations, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for all roles. Previous experience in Maaden or similar industrial environments will be highly preferred.
