The Safety Supervisor (Aramco Approved) role is a key position in maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards across industrial and oil & gas project sites. This job is essential for ensuring that all site operations are carried out in compliance with strict Aramco safety regulations and international HSE standards. The Safety Supervisor is responsible for monitoring workplace activities, identifying risks, and implementing preventive measures to avoid accidents or operational hazards. This position is especially important in high-risk environments such as construction, maintenance, and shutdown projects where strict safety enforcement is required. The role contributes directly to protecting workers, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring smooth project execution without safety violations.
Key Responsibilities
The Safety Supervisor is responsible for conducting daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety procedures and identifying unsafe practices before they lead to incidents. The role includes monitoring ongoing work activities, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and enforcing safety regulations at all times. The supervisor must conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments to keep workers informed and alert. Additionally, they are required to prepare safety reports, document incidents, and coordinate with project engineers and management to implement corrective actions. Ensuring that all activities meet Aramco-approved safety standards is a major part of the responsibility, along with maintaining a proactive approach to hazard prevention.
Skills and Knowledge
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of industrial safety practices, Aramco standards, and HSE regulations. Experience in oil & gas, construction, or shutdown projects is highly preferred. The candidate should be able to conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement effective control measures. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for guiding teams and ensuring compliance on-site. A certified safety qualification such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is highly valued. The candidate must also be capable of handling emergency situations, preparing safety documentation, and working under pressure in demanding project environments while maintaining attention to detail.
