Light Driver / Heavy Driver
Light Driver and Heavy Driver roles are essential positions within logistics, transport, and project support operations, especially in large-scale construction and industrial projects across Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities and Job Functions
The selected candidates will be responsible for operating assigned vehicles according to their category, either light or heavy transport, ensuring safe driving practices at all times. Duties include transporting workers, materials, and documents between project locations, following assigned routes, and maintaining proper delivery schedules. Drivers must ensure daily vehicle inspection before operation, including brakes, tires, fuel, and safety equipment checks. They are also required to maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle and immediately report any mechanical issues or accidents to supervisors. Compliance with traffic rules and company policies is strictly required throughout the employment period.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants must have valid driving experience in either light or heavy vehicle categories with a strong understanding of road safety regulations in Saudi Arabia. A valid Iqama with at least 3 months validity is mandatory, along with proper documentation including passport, visa, Muqeem, and medical fitness reports. Candidates should have the ability to work under pressure, follow instructions accurately, and maintain discipline during long working hours. Experience in construction or industrial transport projects will be considered an advantage. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is also required for ensuring smooth daily operations.
