Safety Supervisor (05 Positions)
A Safety Supervisor is a key professional responsible for ensuring that workplace activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project-specific safety procedures. This role is especially critical in high-risk industrial environments such as oil, gas, and petrochemical projects in Saudi Arabia. In large facilities like SATORP projects in the Satorp industrial area, safety supervisors play an essential role in protecting workers, preventing accidents, and maintaining a safe working environment. The position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of occupational health and safety systems.
Core Responsibilities and Job Duties
The selected Safety Supervisors will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities to ensure full compliance with approved safety standards. Duties include conducting regular site inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented immediately. The supervisor will also be responsible for conducting toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions for workers to promote awareness of safe working practices. In addition, the role includes reviewing permits to work, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and coordinating with project management teams to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in safety supervision roles, preferably in industrial, construction, or petrochemical environments. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, risk assessment procedures, and emergency response planning is essential. Candidates should have the ability to communicate effectively with workers and management teams, ensuring safety instructions are clearly understood and followed. Experience in Saudi Aramco or similar large-scale projects will be considered a strong advantage.
