An urgent opportunity is available for qualified Fire Watch personnel for industrial project operations in Saudi Arabia. Fire Watchers play a critical role in maintaining workplace safety by monitoring hot work activities, identifying fire hazards, and ensuring immediate response in case of emergencies. This position is essential for preventing accidents and maintaining compliance with industrial safety standards in high-risk work environments.
The selected candidate will work closely with safety teams and operational personnel to ensure that all hot work activities are conducted safely and according to approved procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The Fire Watch will be responsible for monitoring welding, cutting, grinding, and other hot work activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Duties include inspecting work areas for potential fire hazards, maintaining fire extinguishing equipment nearby, and taking immediate action if unsafe conditions are observed.
Additional responsibilities include conducting routine safety checks, reporting hazards to supervisors, maintaining awareness of emergency procedures, and ensuring that all hot work permits and safety requirements are followed throughout the work process.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants should have previous experience in industrial safety or fire watch activities. Candidates must possess a valid Humaets Training Card, and a minimum of five cards should be available as required by the employer.
Strong attention to detail, hazard awareness, and knowledge of fire prevention procedures are essential. Candidates should be physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments while maintaining high safety standards.
