Key Responsibilities
The Rigger Level 3 is responsible for preparing, securing, and guiding loads during lifting operations using cranes and other mechanical lifting equipment. The role involves inspecting rigging tools such as slings, shackles, and chains before use to ensure they meet safety standards. The rigger must follow lifting plans provided by supervisors and communicate clearly with crane operators using hand signals or radio communication. In addition, the worker assists in positioning heavy equipment, pipes, and structural materials at designated locations on-site. Strict adherence to safety procedures is required at all times to prevent workplace hazards. Coordination with other site teams such as scaffolders, welders, and supervisors is also an important part of daily activities.
Skills and Knowledge
