Description
The Civil Engineer position for the Hadeed Plant Jubail project represents a short-term but highly important technical assignment within Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector. Civil Engineers in such projects play a key role in supervising structural works, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and supporting maintenance or modification activities within industrial facilities. Key Responsibilities
The selected Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing all civil-related activities at the Hadeed Plant site. This includes monitoring construction and maintenance work, ensuring that all tasks are carried out according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety regulations. The engineer will coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and other technical teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of assigned tasks. Daily site inspections, progress reporting, and quality control checks will be part of the routine responsibilities. The role also involves identifying technical issues on-site and providing quick engineering solutions to avoid project delays. Additionally, the Civil Engineer must ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and maintain proper documentation of all site activities throughout the project duration.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates applying for this role must have strong technical knowledge in civil engineering, particularly in industrial or plant-based environments. A valid Saudi Council of Engineers membership is mandatory for eligibility. Applicants should be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, understanding structural systems, and managing site execution activities effectively. Experience in industrial plants, especially within Saudi Arabia or similar GCC environments, will be highly preferred.
